These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EdgeWalker website, application, and services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by EdgeWalker ("EdgeWalker," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
EdgeWalker lets you create a personalized AI persona — with a chosen face (an animated avatar), a voice, and a personality — and converse with it by text or voice. The Service uses third-party AI models to generate responses and may optionally remember information you share to personalize future conversations.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. We use passwordless "magic link" sign-in; anyone with access to your email may be able to access your account.
You agree not to use the Service to: break the law; harass, abuse, or harm others; generate sexual content involving minors or non-consenting persons; impersonate others or misappropriate someone's likeness or voice without rights; infringe intellectual property; distribute malware; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or resell or abuse the Service (including automated or excessive use beyond normal personal use). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You are responsible for how you use content you generate. The personas, avatars, and voices are stylized creations; any resemblance is coincidental unless you supply your own materials, in which case you represent you have the rights to do so.
You retain ownership of the messages and materials you provide ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, sending it to AI providers to generate replies, or storing memory you enable). See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.
The Service, including its avatars, software, and branding, is owned by EdgeWalker and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; certain sections (payments owed, disclaimers, limitations) survive.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdgeWalker will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
